Here is a close up of her comb.

I do not like yellow leg chickens for some reason... I feel like its too far from the original chicken (gallus gallus). Most wild birds seem to have dark or green legs... It just seems right for a game chicken to possess this trait.

Does anyone have a preference for yellow leg chickens? And why?

I agree. I like slate, green or blue better then yellow, but if the body of the bird is good looking I can overlook the yellow legs. I have heard people talking about Yellow Legged Hatch birds before. Don't know if Mr. Hatch bred them or the yellow legs came later.

Here is are a couple of culls from my Cubalaya project (culled because of yellow legs). Cubalayas are supposed have white legs. But they are good looking birds.

Those are good looking birds... But why would you cull them?! Wouldnt it be just as easy to sell them, where they could potentially live a full life?

I dislike killing for no reason more than I dislike yellow legs... But what do I know I'm just an Atheist.

I did not kill them. I only kill my birds if I need something to eat. When I say "cull", it just means I removed them from my breeding program. I gave one of the birds to my niece and the other is still roaming my farm.

As far as you being an Atheist, what does that have to do with anything? I personally believe that it it takes just as much (if not more) faith to believe the "Nobody + Nothing = Everything (atheism), then it does to believe that an Omnipotent God created everything by His power (Theism). Both require blind faith to believe. Both cannot be seen or proven. Therefore, both are faith based religions in my book. It's when atheist hypocritically try act all superior and look down their intellectual noses at theist that it gets under my skin. But hey, this is not the place for this discussion, I only answered because you brought it up. If you want to discuss it further, please PM me. Peace.
