Where did you white feathering come from? Was it the Spanish Game?
their grandpa is a grey yellow legged Asil grade/ Spanish cross. He has white on hiswing & tail . His grandma was a white legged wheaton Toppy . I personally believe the white is from the grandma. All the red colored brown breasted rooster s have some white tail & wing feathers. The grey cocks beget same & black or grey speckled hens. I'm surprised of the variety of color in my flock! Some of the hens crow...

Thats interesting that you got a pure white rooster from non-white parents. Must have been a recessive gene that popped up?

I have pure white Spanish game hens and they usually produce black roosters and pure white hens.. I havent had any white in their tail feathers yet. But I did just breed my first pure white rooster from a spanish game hen this last season. Well actually he is starting to get blonde saddles feather and blonde on his wing (shoulder).

I have had hens that crow every so often, usually when I dont have a big rooster out with them in the yard.

yeah it's real weird but the white does come from the red colored brown breasted! I know that because the body confirmation & the facial appearance are similar...
