I would keep an eye on this guys, he actually has better station, better legs, and I've always favored pea Combs too, easier to Dub also, just because he's the low man now don't mean he will be at 18 months of age, a hatch hen would be good to breed him with if your going for the same looks, most people would look at him and think he's pure hatch. Trust me i do not know everything and have a lot to learn yet but, if it were up to me I'd breed a good dominant(mean) hen over this guy before the other rooster, that's if your going for a hatch looking chicken....offspring would be 7/8 hatch 1/8 Spanish

Yeah I like this pea comb guy more than his straight combed brother.. He definitely got more of the hatch genetics than spanish. (He looks like his grandpa, Fabio, when he was young).

He was sick when he was young and I think that accounts for his low position in the ranks.

I am keeping him and I will probably breed him. I dont care about colors so much.. just as long as they are athletic and game.
