Here is another 3/4 Hatch - 1/4 Spanish.... No name yet -Full brother to the previous post... He has a pea comb tho... and is the lowest stag on the totem pole, out of the 4 stags I have this year.

I would keep an eye on this guys, he actually has better station, better legs, and I've always favored pea Combs too, easier to Dub also, just because he's the low man now don't mean he will be at 18 months of age, a hatch hen would be good to breed him with if your going for the same looks, most people would look at him and think he's pure hatch. Trust me i do not know everything and have a lot to learn yet but, if it were up to me I'd breed a good dominant(mean) hen over this guy before the other rooster, that's if your going for a hatch looking chicken....offspring would be 7/8 hatch 1/8 Spanish

Give him a few more months, As long as he aint running away from an interaction.....i think he might be the better one.

Yeah I like this pea comb guy more than his straight combed brother.. He definitely got more of the hatch genetics than spanish. (He looks like his grandpa, Fabio, when he was young).

He was sick when he was young and I think that accounts for his low position in the ranks.

I am keeping him and I will probably breed him. I dont care about colors so much.. just as long as they are athletic and game.

That's a pretty colored roo, looks kinda like a splash.....did all the brothers turn out this color ? Get any hens in that color pattern ?
