No he's a brood bull stag. I do however have eggs from him But they feather out any color from white to black and all between so I can't promise any will come out like him or most may. Just don't know gotta wait and see which is one reason I like breeding them. They'll change color 3 times before they set in their plumage. I have them on e-bay for sale cause I'm letting most hens go broody and was suppose to sell eggs from him specifically to someone but it fell through and I have about 144 eggs to set Sunday so I don't have room for his eggs so I'm just gonna sell whatever they lay. Should be around 16

When you say he changes 3 times before his color is set, does that mean he is yet to set his color?

What color pattern do you see in his chick's down?

Ok
Thanks
I love him
I have 8 breeding roosters
And 9 breeds
Reds
EE
Leghorn
Amraconna
Sicer polish
Golden polish
And some other I don't no exactly what they r

He's set. What they'll do is hatch let's say solid blue, then their first set of feathers will be light blue with dark blue laced, then first molt feather blue laced with red shoulders and their hackles will turn gold. U may want to explore why this happens because I have personally watched feathers change colors on these birds without a molt. The solid blue cock in my pics at about 8 mo. Old his hackles literally turned gold without a molt

I usually cross breed to se if I can make a better layer and when I breed them I trace a dominate gene from each rooster and each hen and the 2 that r the closest I cross breed
I usually pic the biggest in size, egg, and color and some times on personalities

If u look at the right hen u can even see sickle feathers like a cock has. U can tell if their gonna be darker more solid color, or splash type at first feather but that's all not how they will finally be
