My favorite thing about raising gamefowl is imagining what the offspring will look like. I think your cross breeding project will look great. The color of the offspring is hard to imagine, but it will probably look like a brown red (similar to your JFx and Modern) unless you select grey pullets from the Grey x Modern offspring. They may produce grey offspring when bred to your JFx.

The last off white coloured breed is worshipped in our region. We think that this is the most dangerous while used for fighting and most resultful while used for breeding(when crossed in any other breed.)

that hen is silver phoenix and my jf x is mainland x yokohama so I'm sure tail will be good but I'm hoping for more leg and a lot of jf color and wild personality. I just hatched one from that first pair and two from that modern on a bb red phoenix also got a few gold sebright x black berchin moderns to throw in the mix for a little lacing plus I have 7 oeg bantam I got assorted I'm excited to see what's what all are grey with black splotches :/

nope he IS a mainland junglefowl x yokohama (half wild) this bird flew the distance of 2 or 3 football fields I've never seen a flighty chicken do that and he came from a family member not some random person and he knows his birds and has been breeding/raising for almost 50 years
