What a let down and a bad end to a very good staggared hatch! The only one that didn't make it was the one I wanted most my grey/hatch x thai choked on yolk after pipping I could have tried to help too but i was at my mother inlaws fixing her tv
Today was a fun day. The 2 games got to come in and chase us around the floor. The older one got loose in the big coop when Alberto went to put them back in, it was running between NN legs, and the BO's just stood there mouths wide open watching.
It was fun watching that and watching the NN's trying to move out of the way.
We had a good laugh with that.
Once everyone got settled back to normal, tonight I went and checked on the babies, all the bigger ones are sleeping next to their cage. Kind of cute watching the big ones, trying to tell them it's bed time. We caught the little ones today trying to catch a beetle, that was cute. They love that daily quality time with us in the house. I have found out though they love the hardwood floor but not the kitchen floor.
They are little chatter bugs, chattering all the time. Even little man was talking to them today, he watches them, then starts chattering then they start.
