Show Off Your Games!

Ain't enough meat except for a gumbo, if I were to guess I'd imagine him being a cross of a grey and asil. The lady they're going to likes odd looking stuff so she'll love these

Yep you got that right. The two I hatched that were MS blacks I knew one was different from hatch. Not even close. One was black one was chipmunk colored. I separated the eggs in the incubator so not my error. Whatever
Yeah luckily they were the only screw up this year. That's why I never showed them they gonna go quietly I sure ain't gonna be labeled a peddler so no breeding no selling of eggs. I'm only gonna sell what I know. They are cool looking ( different ) but useless to me.

I've been meaning to send the guy I got these eggs from a pic of the two birds and ask what he sent me. I'm not mad about it. I would just like to know if he knows what it is (mixed with).

Unless it'd red jungle fowl there can be throwbacks but that's what maybe 1%. I don't know what ms blacks were developed with but if they're not that old then it's possible but to know you'd have to hatch a lot and see. See if he would send more eggs for the price of shipping. He should of he's confident about his fowl being what he did they are

Supposedly he has two different lines. Had em for over 10 yrs. No throwback here. Either a mistake was made or something different was thrown in on purpose. Bought 6 sent 8 only hatched 2. One looks like a MS black the other may have been something else. Which would have been fine with me except all eggs were marked 1 and 2 for the different lines of MS. Not a completely different bird. I just sent pics to the guy and questioned him politely. I bet I don't hear back though.

May also infused something to bring back vigor and that chicks showing it. Or crossed up eggs by accident. As u can see I like to think positive but if it was deliberate than that sucks

Here's pics of the two I hatched. The black one is the one that looks ok. The light one is the bird in question. Helluva difference considering I couldn't find a pic of a MS black chick that wasn't black scouring the internet.

I hatched the rubles at the same time. They had the same dots on the head but a darker wider chipmunk stripe. I placed the eggs from each line in two different baskets inside the incubator for this very reason. Plus I watched them hatch. So I know for sure. Either way it's a nice bird. Live and learn.
