Bout 8" square, I've had this free range flock for 16 years. Most of my young stock is raised free range or in chicken tractors

I have a free range flock of birds too. Lost my fair share to hawks and foxes, raccoons etc..

I have 3 guineas that need to go. It's become apparent that guineas and penned gamefowl do not mix! I have pictures but they are not suitable for this forum.

Do you have penned gamefowl? Do they bother them if you do? It's random, happened about a week and a half ago and then again today with a different bird. It was so bad that I had vultures on my roof! Not sure if they can smell the blood or what. The whole front of the pen wire are all bent to hell.

Vultures? My guineas spend most of day in the soybean field and roost in my goat barn.my pens have 2' plywood sight barriers around them. The guineas will get me outta bed in the morning if they start hollering some thing is wrong

I have the ply wood up now for barriers. My guineas are useless. They make noise at everything. Besides i leave for work well before any of my birds are awake. The guineas are usually out patrolling all day for bugs, but as it gets cooler they start to hang around my chicken coops for food. I'm guessing that's what they are doing, feeding on pellets that fall out of the pens and the games just don't like them. Obviously. I have about 25 penned roosters and two free range. The free range roosters I figured could become a problem but they haven't been at all. Just wasn't expecting issues with the guineas.
Yeah the vultures were hanging around because of the blood on the pen. I've had them land In trees above me before I could even finish field dressing deer. They don't waste time around here.
