I'd say at 1 year an American Game is very near maturity. He may not be 100% full weight or completely full feathered but he can breed and defend his flock. I never keep birth dates, so thats just a rough estimate. Anyone else have input on this?

Yes, two years old is the generally accepted as the age when stags(bull stags at 12 Mo.) become cocks and pullets become hens. However, there are variances, AGs usually do mature earlier then OGs. But both will breed, and possibly "game out" before the two year mark. You just can't base much on a bird earlier than 18 MO, usually. And don't do any serious testing before that point.

I think the problem here is the Definition of Game...Because tow Cocks fight don't make them Game...Barn Yard Roosters will fight ....Game is to the death ...If you have more than 1 Cock to gather they are not game... My Boles you can't even put Hens together unless they were raised together

The way you think america game are made body structure from head to claws

I am no expert, but high strength to weight ratio is an important factor. So an AG should be lean but strong. I favor taller birds (high station). Because like most human athletes the taller the athlete the harder he/she will hit, throw, kick etc.
