Show Off Your Games!

Number one is games have been bred for this for centuries and number two is these birds should never tolerate another breeding age stag anywhere near them whatsoever.

I have question that may seem ridiculous... If a rooster runs in a cockfight, would that bird lose/be disqualified? What if he ran, but returned to fight moments later, would that still be considered losing?

Has anyone seen either happen?

Just hypothetical questions... Would he lose by the rules of the sport? I dont know the follow the sport and dont know the rule...

The reason I ask is... Lets say a rooster had a good winning screak.. say 10 wins.. really good quality and a proven winner, but on his 11th he decides he rather run than die. Would you consider him game? Would you still want to breed him? Even though he lost that one but ened up surviving the fight (because he ran).

No, he still ran even if he did win 10 times all it tells me is that he managed not to get hurt bad enough and it was pretty much luck he won those 10 times. But he wouldn't live very wrong cause like I said if a bird runs once he's gonna do it again.

I think if I were in the sport I'd rather breed winners than birds that are strictly game. Its obviously best to have both.. but if the 'non-game' was winning because he wasnt 'game', for example, instead of taking a hit like a 'game' bird might do, he ducks instead, and wins in the long run, consistently. I'd rather breed smart fighters than 'game' fighters.

Once again I dont support fighting. Im just trying to figure out, why you guys are so obsessed with 'game'.

I don't know how a rooster will go 10 times
When that sport is highly deadly
If you watch some videos on you tube
You'll know what I'm talking about
And that will answer a lot questions if you pay close attention .
Since we can't talk so much about that here

There is people on here that know more than me ....Let me say if a bird ducks he want last long before another bird comes down on his back then it is over. chances are slim to none that he wins 10 and then runs...10 wins is allot so I would think long and hard .but I wouldn't breed him until I figured it out....The worst thing about a runner is it hurts your pride they laugh at you

A "ducker" doesn't necessarily mean smart, it doesn't win ten fights either! A runner isn't against the rules no, but you will have a humiliating time and a bad rap. You don't need to choose between gameness and a winner. By the way, good fighters, and game, doesn't mean he will sit and get hit, he needs to get In and hit first, then get out quick. It depends entirely on the show, so specify that.
