I really like those two young black roosters, they look really healthy.. I have never heard of Boles. Is that a black line?

Do modern games come is large (not batum) sizes? I like the look a lot but they seem small. Are they?

Good looking birds. Boles is an Asil line, supposedly crossed with AG way back when, and are especially used for grading with AGs now, it's not really specifying color, however, I believe they do come in black.
Modern Games do come in Large fowl and bantam sizes. The LF are pretty tall birds, it's accentuated by their slim, long necks and legs and upright appearance. They are no longer game here in the USA, from what I hear. Like happened with Carlisle Old English.

Bobby Boles Asil Mr. Boles was an old time Cock Fighter ...The Black comes form the Sid Taylor...
Fowlsessed is correct my Boles come BBR both Wheaten and Partridge color I have never seen a solid black..
Mr. Boles did have a line of AG that were Black so the story goes A Cock he named Black Bart was the start of this line and a Miltie winner even after a broken leg..I would like to have some of the Black line if I could find them...

I named my black rooster "Black Snow"... actually my daughter did.. She raised Black Snow and White Snow from the incubator until old enough to free range the yard
