Wow 19 stags is quite the collection... I only have 4 stags coming of age this year and I want to keep all 4 of them. Does anyone else have the problem of trying to keep too many chickens?
My wife is very irratated with me because of my chickens roaming the backyard and neighbors yard, pooping all over the place. I only have 1/2 acre property, so I think its not because I have too many chickens, its that I dont have enough land!

Oh I'll be culling for sure, I'll try to keep about 8-10 the rest I'll be eating, but I'll have to wait till they're all about 9 months old

I am such a wuss. I dont ever think I could kill and eat one my young roosters. I always see the best of each of them and want them to have a chance to survive and breed. I wont even sell them to anybody, I have to make sure that buyers will have them free range and wont fight or eat them... whats wrong wtih me?
