So y'all think chicks about 80% feathered will survive a night of 32 degrees at the lowest? In S louisiana we rarely see freezing maybe twice a yr. and definately not in April

By five weeks of age mine can go lower but I need to see what your 80% feathered looks like. By time they can handle near freezing they are approaching crow size. Full cold tolerance is not related until adult feathers virtually all in. I push my birds in this regard because of lack of control over breeding on some walks.
