Looks like a Cornish, although the leg colors are not yellow.

haha.. never heard of that breed,,, but according to my Google image search, that hen looks nothing like a golden comet.

They are a production chicken not a game. In fact the golden comets we had one, and she was red and white, yours does not have white blotches on it. Sorry but it is not a golden comet. However they are great egg layers. I like them for the eggs we use here for cooking. There should be lots of white if it's a GC. Tails have white, wings should have some white, and there should be white mixed in all over it.

Color and type wise, the hen looks most similar to a production black. But, comb type is wrong- like someone else mentioned looks kind of like she may have a tad bit of Cornish or something in her somewhere (But isn't a pure one).

If you just want eggs, then I am sure she will produce you some. However if you want a certain breed like Golden Comet, AKA red star, and so many other names, I can't remember them all. You need to do some looking. Look on Bing, or google at pictures, then check what people have, if they don't look the same then it's not a golden comet.
