Ok finaly found a decent rooster just picked up a grey/hatch very good bird (proven x10)

I have something interesting going on over the last few cold mornings. Some of my hens and pullets are flying up from their broods and flying towards me as I come across draw with bucket of feed. These flights are anywhere from 50 to 100 feet and they sometimes land on me. Chicks get left behind when they do. They are trying to mug me for the feed. The old hens seem to do a better job of staying back with chicks but they still jump up on me as I come through. They are like hogs I remember feeding back in the woods that want entire bucket contents for themselves. When mornings warm this will stop.

Millet, oats, whole corn, and BOSS in that order with chick starter and a touch of alfalfa.

another successful broody hen hatch. These are all hers she's solid blue and the broodcock yet chicks are all colors

well I just had a s.l. sweeter go broody today the chicks will be 1/2 s.l. sweeter 1/2 leiper I cant wait its my first sweeter leiper cross
