Maybe I can arrange that... I dont have any plans for pure mating him. It would most likely be crosses with my American games.I wouldn't mind getting some standard modern hatching eggs off of you in the future if you sellm

Which side is facing west? Maybe raise it till half is exposed. But around here they're all like that with wings out and panting, it's just hot![]()
I got home from work today about 2:15 and the 25 chicks I have in these two pens with the tarps pulled down just like in the photo were still holding their wings out and panting. Not too bad but they looked pretty hot to me. It was 94 here today, humidity is up there too. I wonder if pulling the tarps down so far in the front doesn't allow for enough air flow? It's almost completely open on the sides. I'm trying to prevent the direct sunlight. I guess ill only pull it down half way and see how that works. Any thoughts?
They will be panting regardless.. unless you hook them up to an A/C unit lol... getting them out of the sunlight makes the biggest difference. Why not put them into the shade of the trees?

where are you located? Near NC?![]()
Anybody want a peacock? I have a silkie in this pen sitting on eggs and he won't leave her alone. Best part is I didn't even buy him. He just showed up one day three years ago, count have been more than a few months old. I asked around and nobody was missing him. He's a bully lol. He's dropping his feathers now so soon I'll be able to fit him in a flat rate shipping box. Lol
Yeah it's just hot, hot all over. Were getting into hurricane season and if you've never experienced one when they start rolling in the weather feels soo good windy the wall cloud moves over and it gets nice and cool then all hell breaks loose then after the air is so clean and refreshing the birds love it too if they live through it.D![]()
This is the view looking out from inside the pens. The rear of the pens are facing west. I think it's just too hot and humid. They were in complete shade all day. Without the tarp they are in shade by 2pm. With the red roof they always have shade though in the back half.
