All this brown and black breasted red talk makes my head spin. I have to look it all up for pics and they all look different. I have to find a chart or something or maybe a good book. Any recommendations?

Look up wild-type red jungle fowl. Besides size, wild-type has blue legs rather than green your bird has.

Those dark legs and white tuft at the base of the tail are typical of a hatch.

Good choice in roof material.

What kinda hen is that. I bought one like that at auction this fall. Am going to cross cemani on it for fibro game. Metallic Beatle green sheen.

Both are Brown Reds but the top one is crossed and I still have the bottom one and her son.

Below is a type of hen I am really looking for. Preferably such would come out of Kentucky of northern Tennessee.

Centra I had one almost like her. Pretty sure I could find one in my or my grandpa's yard. Couldn't ship though. Don't exactly remember what happened to her.
