I was gonna ask also. The parents are all crested but they don't have big ones, is it possible for the chicks I have to grow up and end up with bigger crests?

I'm REALLY close! I'm by El Monte and Baldwin park sort of in between both since I'm at the edge of both cities lol.
It's only about 20 minutes away from Pasadena.

I wish I would've paid better attention to my father when we had 50 plus stags to do every year. What would be really neat is if I would have had my mother video some of them, he was definitely a pro at it. I remember him looking at the almanac every year to see when the sign was in the feet to the trimming, there was always very little blood.

pretty sure it's new moon but not positive. I just go with cool, cold mornings. I read to do it at dusk so the stag could rest all night but that turned out real bad for me. Bled a lot

So how does that work? What kind of box, how much for shipping, do they ask what kind of chicks etc. I may ship chicks if it's not that big of a deal
