Centra, are you like a FFA teacher. It's a great organization to get young people involved in farming and help shape their life. It would be very rewarding to hear back from students.

Professor of Agriculture with concentration on aquaculture (fish and crayfish farming mostly). I do not routinely get involved with high schools but have resorted to such for promoting aquaculture. I do advise high school kids with their science fair projects and others with 4-H poultry. Latter involves poultry because of no doable aquaculture projects recognized. The gamefowl are part of the bait we use to get kids close enough to see the other items that repel if not around someone you know.

Ringed teal: yeah these birds are for fly tying. I have currently have 12 roosters and 17 hens for this.

I think there is a guy in upstate NY raising the fly tying roosters too. Cool colors

Yeah I know him. I got a few of my birds from him, the rest from multiple sources.

We do crawfish and crayfish. Crayfish more important in most of state.
