I had a white rooster on a brown hen. The chicks didn't look like either parent. All came out cuckoo like barred rock.

I'll see what happens being a white Kelso hen. If they come mixed looking I'll just cull them. Id like them to come all reg looking. And I haven't has any luck finding a good reg hen

I need a verication that I'm right or wrong, I have a friend that just received a pair of rubles. He was told they are pure, but the hen is wheaten colored. I told him that the ruble hens are suppose to be buff colored. Am I right?

Buff and wheaten would be the same right? I've been told ( hearsay) suppose to be wheaten but do throw wild type and to breed to the wheaten. I personally think people just rather the wheaten color. Pretty much all the hatch I've seen throw both
