No, leg color comes from the way he is bred, being pure or crossed. If you like him that's all that matters at this point.

I bred one just like that. Mine is a bit older, and more filled out.



But traits like Pea comb, yellow leg and grey feathering, dont tell you if he is good or not.. You should check that rooster personally to see if he is healthy, strong and alert... especially since you dont know his background.

I have looked him over he is even mild mannered but they have him a a very small cage I think once I get him in a nice size coop he will fill out and look a lot better
