At what age did your hens start laying? I have a 24 week old hen who still hasn't laid yet. We are going into fall. Could this be the reason?

Yes it was tiny forever and then grew overnight. It's huge now with bright reddish black wattles. He combe is a reddish black as well. It used to be just black when she was little but the when her comb grew it turned red.

This is a picture from a few weeks ago. It's redder now.

Can anyone tell me if this girl could be some type of game hen? I got her out of the bantam box at tractor supply. She is one of our favorites and we would like to get more. No clue what she is though..

Just wanted to update. My hens comb grew huge and turned red. I re sent her pic to the hatchery and they said she is a black old english game. Seems more believable to me. I never thought she looked like the Sumatra. What do you guys think?
