Just vitamins.
I use the rooster booster brand because the birds actually drink it. I’ve tried a bunch and most have to be diluted a lot before they’ll drink it. Kinda defeats the purpose.

Winter can be tough on the birds. When it gets below freezing, I try to dump water cups at dark in the evening and fill them with warm water first thing in the morning. I don't know if the birds appreciate it, but it makes me feel better. lol For the really cold nights, I try to give them some scratch before dark. Again, not sure if it makes a difference, but they always go for it, even after they have filled their crops with feed for the night.

I make sure every single bird has water available every day. Sometimes it’s cold enough that might only be about 10 minutes before it freezes again but at least they get some. Usually I just pour a few ounces in each cup since there’s no point in filling them.

I’m gonna try something new. I think I’m just gonna walk by each pen and shoot each bird in the face 3 times with a water pistol. Once I compile the data I’ll share my findings with the rest of the group.

I like this coop design... literally zero scrap. 50ft roll of wire and 4 roof panels, makes exactly 2 coops. And the only cuts I make is 4ft (from 8ft). so minimal cutting with no leftover. Even the doors are exactly one 8ft stick with no scrap.

I bought some dog exercise pens online and going to try to convert them into stag pens. Ill post some pics when I get those.
