I like the blue legs on that top one.
If there’s a thread in BYC to ask this I’m sure it’s this one!! I have 8 liege fighters 10 weeks old. 7 of them look great but one stag (I’m assuming) I think is a cross with another game breed. I’m thinking asil due to the head profile. Any opinions?

Here’s one of the other stags that I’m positive is pure liege game for comparison.

@Florida Bullfrog thanks! I knew they had oriental blood in them but I didn’t know if it showed that much. Pure or not, I’ll keep him around to see what he turns into.Greenfire Farms isn't too far from me. My understanding is that the Liege was created by crossing whatever the Belgians had access too with large oriental gamefowl like Malays. So it wouldn't surprise me that a Leige would have aseel-looking traits at different points of development.
Don't know if your still on here but these were my brothers and my Miner Blues. The Miner blue that MRN posted is a blue red sport. So if you bred blue reds, you would get blues, BBreds, and sports if i remember correctly. (It's been awhile.) A pyle to BBred-Or wheaten, would give them too much red and the blue wouldn't be anywhere i don't think, but i believe Chris is correct in them being a variation of Pyle.
Miner blues come in a wide variety of colors, as it's in their bloodline. These are just a few colors from a guy on another forum, not my birds -
.
(And these are only a few, he's posted at least two or more other variations i know of and I've seen more.)
