I have Genetic Hackle Birds now. My brother never thought I could get them lol Been many years that I haven't had any game birds.

I think he went off to college. He was the focused sort from what I remember corresponding with him. He came from a gamefowl background and well read to boot; a rare combination on this sight.

I had the blues for years, over 20, We got them from Bill Cook in Idaho. They were good birds.

They must have been tough in cold too. I would like to play with something like those to see what they are like.

My aseel continue to develop and thrive under free range conditions. I'm a little curious to breed an entire flock of pure breeds and turn them loose to see how they do. But I've got enough chicken projects on my plate.
