ANOTHER HEN HATCHED LAST NIGHT! 9 OUT OF 12! NOT BAD CONSIDERING THE COLD NIGHTS LATELY.

Man Im jealous of you Cheif. Ive got 4 hens laying real good but none are broody yet. Then again Ive been collecting the eggs cause its been so cold here. Am gonna throw them back out when Ive got about 8 or so and see how it goes.

Awww Ive got quite a few breeds..The ones in particular are sport butchers and grey hens are laying. My GLH hen , kelso, and sweater hens are still not laying anything. Im in central Ky and we have been hit fairly hard this year by snow. I also live in sort of a valley so its always cooler here in the winters and summers. Poor chickens, Im sure they are tired of all the snow then rain then snow. lol. In My avi pic is a mcclainxblueface..One of My best boys

I have Law Greys, a Shorty Bullock Grey hen, a Marion Rose x hatch hen( shes the one in the pic with the peeps), two Roundhead x Bullock hens, a real nice Kelso Stag, and a Cardinal Kelso x Hatch cock. So far I've hatched 10 from the roundheadx hen & the Cardinalx cock, and the Rose hen with the Kelso Stag.
