Hey Pine grove- guess missed it somewhere - What kind of hen is this in your picture- Someone gave me one last night that looks like almost exactly like this. I wasn't sure it was a game or a silver phoenix hen . Either way she's a beauty she's sitting in a big bird cage in the kitchen until I can get her a cage fixed outside. Oh and how do you tell the difference between a gray game hen and a silver phoenix hen? I mean is their behavior a lot different or is there some certain physical things you look for

He posted what looked like to be a pure Bennet grey hen. Nice one at that ^^ They are agressive IMO..I can NEVER put two Bennet grey hens in a pen and expect there to be peace. They will fight some times just as bad as the boys.... Im not sure about a silver phoenix hen tho...Hope he answers your post

Here is the hen that I was talking about earlier. She has dark colored legs - slate? She looks a lot like the gray hen in the post yesterday. Anybody have any ideas- She was a gift and I think she's beautiful no matter what she is .

In the top picture she looks way smaller than she really is for some reason.

She deffinately has some grey in her...Maybe bennet...She very pretty and yes she looks super small in the first pic? Is she growing spurs?

cwc..you have a very nice hen there..I however would suggest you ask the previous owner what her lineage is as you just cannot guess to what kind of "grey" she would be..just too many in the game world..plus not to mention phoenix do have slate legs, white lobes and can come her color. You can't just say..oh..she looks Bennet or Mule Train or something like that..know what i mean?
