Yeah same here I was hoping I would have some chicks by now. Last year my hens hatched the first week of March. I don't know what the heck is going on this year.. Maybe next month or something.

do you have a incubator?
I set 11 eggs 12 days ago. I set 6 of my spanish/kelso line and 5 of my pure albany line! i candled last night and all but 1 look good!

No I really need to invest in getting one. I went to the feed store last week and they were out of them. Do you have an automatic egg turner or do you turn them yourself?

no i have the automatic turner and the fan.... i have the little giant. its not that bad but there seems to be better... im going to be geeting another one a hova bator i heared they are better and easier... i want 2 so i can hatch every 10-12 days...

I'll be honest I never had much luck with my incubator I had the styrophone one with out the fan and I had to hand turn the eggs I would only end up hatching about half the eggs and the chicks were usually weak. If I get an incubator I may have to go with a really good one like the one your looking to buy. Let me know how it works for you. I know a breeder who hatches chicks every 3 to 5 days he has a huge incubator it's too bad he's in Texas or I would try to give him some eggs to hatch for me.

well this is my first time with the incubator and i checked all the eggs yesterday and they seemed great i could see vains and everything

You can't go wrong with a Dickey Incubator. I hatch just about every week. Google Dickey Incubator to learn more about them.

Wow that looks expensive Mallen... Like a bator that may set you back a few hundreds, but I bet just about worth every penny with profit. I don't have enough quantity for a bator that size but it looks official. Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!
