Nice big barn, Danielle. Looks like you have more than enough animals. Bet you spoil them all. The birds don`t look much like the Thai we have in the US, most of whom are said to be descndants of pure stock from Thailand, even first generation as you describe. This is not to say the quality is better or worse. The bodies are similar, but the floppy comb and wattles are what`s different. Go to ganoi.com and you`ll see what I mean. Lots of pics there. Also, I have included a link to a Thai farm here in the US. Glad you`re here, make yourself at home.........Pop

Thanks. These birds are either 1st or 2nd generation smuggles as we don't have the breed here & if we do, it gets mixed within a generation as no one separates breeds here . The Thai people come in & out of the country all the time as they are the country's major foreign workforce. Whether these are up to standard or not in Thailand, who knows but probably not as the Thai workers I have here don't do anything with their animals & probably bought another Thai person's cull (the floppiness) from a nearby farm. These birds only showed up a week or two ago & I thought they were just game crosses until I saw everyone's pictures on here.

Hopefully someone here can help me..... I have hens hatching eggs left and right this spring and my american game hens tend to kill their chicks after they are about 2 weeks old.... why are they doing this? I have had to seperate 2 hens from their chicks for this reason. How do I stop them?

here is a pic of a cock i recently aquired (blue traveler x hatch)
