Show Off Your Games!

Hi everyone!

This is one of two "found chickens". They showed up in a live trap at my mothers house. They are very wild, I assume feral. I've been told they are perhaps american game, or a game mix. Thought perhaps I can post pics here to share.

I looked through close to half of this threads posts and pictures. All of your birds are beautiful and I love to read the interesting things everyone has to say!

The pics are poor quality but they are VERY wild. I reached in to try and adjust her positioning and she bit me...little stinker.

Looks like a hatchery Old english bantam. Silver duckwing to be exact color wise.

Thanks! (btw your website is epic)

Thank you, I've thought of re-writing some things.. And probably will have a treat chart up one day (similar to the one on BYC, but it is listed alphabetical order, and has pretty much every type of fruit, nut, vegetable, seed, etc.. With hopefully a lot of information regarding each) but I'm not sure yet, I did have it up but since it isn't quite where I want it for public view I just use it myself every now-and-then when someone asks a question.

Hard to tell. Her legs look a little on the blue side in the picture. I had some that were out of a hatch rooster(green legs) and a roundhead hen(pearl legs). Some of the pullets came blue legged and light feathered like yours.

Her legs are blue. So are her sister and brother's legs. All the roosters in the flock were red except for one colored like a speckled Sussex, and the hens all looked like this one. I didn't see anything else running around on the property. Supposedly the lady got a few chickens many years ago, but lost interest in caring for them because she's a vegan and doesn't eat meat or eggs, so she just stopped feeding them. They've been living semi-feral for years.

Thanks, they are beautiful but so skittish. They seem very healthy..still not sure if they were truly feral or some one just released them by her house. We have since seen a few more beautiful roos, but have not been able to live trap them. I moved them into a chicken cage in the coop yesterday, hopefully when I release them they will stay!

I NEED HELP!! I have a pair of black breasted red OEGB's and they dont look like breeding quality to me. Is there any way that i can use just these to 2 and make breeding quality offspring? Here are some pics
