This is a beautiful breed that is used by cowards and perverts for their own pleasure. It's too bad the people that raise this breed don't supervise their own to stop this.
I really enjoy looking at the pix's. Use to raise them but I hated only being able to have 1 rooster in the pen, plus the hens laid whenever it suited them altho they kept on eating........

We'll have to agree to disagree. Cochins are going strong because of their unique types just like games would. People that make animals do what they are too cowardly to do (fight chickens, dogs, fish, etc) will never get my respect or tolerance. Actually I would enjoy games much more if their nature wasn't soo aggressive--would still have them.
I will get off my soap box, so others will post pixs of their games, so I can go on enjoying.

only trouble i have with my games, is that the hens are too mean with each other in the sid's i keep for now still, as they routinely kill each other, and any cock especially if they dont want to let him breed, and he tries to get pushy about it (the count is nine at least so far). makes it very hard to breed them to get what i want. then the babies kill each other right out of eggs it seems as soon as dry off, but i assume it is just the breed keeping itself strong, and the ones with hardiest genes, just take over (ive only had one roo left alive in each clutch from my sids, as they somehow know before any visual clue and start killing those off first, as ive xperamented removing some first attacked chicks growing them seperate, and them being roos, but put back later with the then all hens, and they get killed in seconds to hours tops). so now i have what thought was three cocks raised up with my hens, but turns out only two, but just enough to keep them going (one is showing mutt genes from only male allowed to breed and well not get tortured, or killed out right, but mean as hell to anything that messes with his hens, though is constantly hen pecked now when confined, but is fast runner and dodger). so oddly my cocks dont spar, or its just the hens attack them when they do, or even maybe try to crow, as none of the cockerals crow either come to think of it, but the one original hen does (yes i know she is a hen, as seen her lay eggs, but originally thought was rooster with the hackles and saddle , also bit of sickles she has).. mother nature is giving me the finger, though what would i do with all those roos anyways i guess, as market around here is horrible, aside from the game cocks, as even laying hens and broody breeds like polish, silkies and cochins are cheap.

her ere, i must agree, as games at least can be easily utilized by pretty much anyone for farming in general, as will free range on dirt basically and thrive, or be confined and eat any and all leftovers and waste etc, and again still thrive, as well as all mine lay in those conditions as long as have enough light and water, which doesnt seem to be much real recent with having to keep them in from red neck cop neighbors. also they are great pest management, as had none, when my birds could free range, but now neighbors again complaining about the bug and rodent trouble coming from out back, as well as dog crap piling up everywhere again, probably both related. other chickens however would and have seen die in care of these when they try to keep others as well in these harsh conditions (with exception to OEGB maybe, mixed with/into dutch).

As interesting as this discussion is, if the mods take notice, they will delete posts or lock the topic. I'd hate for that to happen.
