Hatching fever, that is either a cubalaya hen, or a cubalaya crossed with a similar oriental breed. White legs, multiple spur carrier, not hard feathered, tail below horizontal, red eyes, all say cubalaya to me. However, it looks like a really well sized bird, good strong shanks, nice broad head. It's a great cubalaya hen if that's what it is, but, i have some cubalayas crossed with larger orientals where the hens look almost exactly like the one you posted, so, who knows? How much does she weigh?

I sure wish someone with experience with gamefowl would post a variety on Hen pictures and identify them. It is hard to know what is what when looking at gamefowl.
On another note, does anyone know where to find some War Horse or Black Shufflers?
Thanks

anyone no where I can buy abused fighting chickens that where fought in the pitts I want to get some to give them a better life

You've been asking around everywhere for chickens to breed, so I'm curious what your general, whole goal is in this?

But aside that, sorry, can't help you. That's a tough thing to get into, considering the event is illegal in the US and most "Humane" Societies put down all the birds they find.
