Excuse my ignorance, but in UK, Europe and Japan you don't have bantam Shamo. Are they created from ko Shamo or bred down from Shamo ???

WOW this bird is pretty
How tall is it?

I'll have to meaure him and let you know exactly how many Inches tall he is. He's just over 7lb ish so is "Chu" Shamo sized. Mother is a genuine Japanese Import from via eggs. Is for sale (UK only can't ship), you would win ALOT at Game Fowl shows with him that's for sure. Just not suited for my breeding.

Taiwan brood cock "Powerhouse", 14.3lb. On loan for my 2012 breeding season.

From what I understand, they were beed down from large fowl.
Mine are from a breeder in Oklahoma I think he bred the bantam shamo with moderns to make new colors like dun shamo. I'm not too sure ?

I bought some and am a little unsure as to if all mine Carry modern blood in them or just my duns?
Will have to look further into it. Will keep you posted.

I really just bought them because their looks. I loved the thought of a miniature looking shamo

Was considering trying to breed them to largefowl shamo to try to get some gameyness in them.
