Show Off Your Geese And Chickens

These are my beautiful geese. I haven’t had any farm animals in 10 years and last June two domestic ducks showed up in our pond. Three weeks later these four geese showed up. I didn’t feed them for about 4 months thinking they would leave and they never did. I asked the neighbors if they were theirs and they weren’t. We have no idea where they came from but they are my best friends now! I believe we have one goose and three ganders. The goose was bred by two of them the other day. The one that I think is the third gander has never fought, or caused trouble sooo... I guess he’s just low on the totem pole. Luckily the other two haven’t caused too much trouble. They love when I talk to them. They graze in the cow pasture and come running when I walk outside and they see me. I’m looking forward to eggs!

Omg I'm in shock. I just dropped off a poorly rook with a severe eye infection and hyperthermia at the local wildlife hospital. We named him Oden he was very tame and loved being stroked I just hope they let me visit him tomorrow I am missing him so much. We think it was caused by the cold weather in England that came from Russia hopefully he will be able to see his family again soon

I called in yesterday to check how he was, and sadly they told me he didn't make it through the night, my daughter who rescued him has been crying for hours. They also tested him to see the cause and apparently his beak had overgrown, which stopped him from being able to eat and drink, our goose food in the back garden had kept him alive for longer.
Rest In Peace Odin.
I'm also worried about his family they have been hanging around the area where he was an crowing very loudly, I feel so bad for them. :(
