Hello I am obsessed with my geese and love all poultry but I cant talk about them with anyone I know because they think I'm strange enough already but I want everyone to realise that they are not food they are your friends, so I decided to make this thread to show everyone to be proud of your poultry. So post as many pics as you would like and show off your birds!

Welcome to the forum. You have beautiful geese. I wish more people viewed poultry as pets, not food. Poultry are the most abused animals in the food industry, both on degree of horrific torture practices, and the sheer numbers of birds being abused are in the billions. Not only do I not eat meat, but even my dogs/cats are on a poultry free diet. So if you are crazy, then I should be committed.

I love my geese. They are loud and bad but they are also sweet, cuddly and alot of fun. Gracie is beautiful, and Klaous is bad and has angel wing so he looks funny.

Hello! Welcome to BYC! I have plenty of lovely birds! Button quail, coturnix quail, ducks, muscovy ducks, chickens and cockatiels you name it! How many geese do you have? What are they're names?

These are my beautiful geese. I haven’t had any farm animals in 10 years and last June two domestic ducks showed up in our pond. Three weeks later these four geese showed up. I didn’t feed them for about 4 months thinking they would leave and they never did. I asked the neighbors if they were theirs and they weren’t. We have no idea where they came from but they are my best friends now! I believe we have one goose and three ganders. The goose was bred by two of them the other day. The one that I think is the third gander has never fought, or caused trouble sooo... I guess he’s just low on the totem pole. Luckily the other two haven’t caused too much trouble. They love when I talk to them. They graze in the cow pasture and come running when I walk outside and they see me. I’m looking forward to eggs!

oh such pretty birds people think I am crazy also and yes I think poultry is miss treated it is bad here. that why I have trouble getting rid of some of my birds. I have no one to chat with that's why I love this forum.

I have a breeding pair of embdens named Babe and Houdini, she started laying her first clutch this past tuesday!! i'm so excited!
