and, I got to say, he does not look like the death machine you describe.
he might want to love you to death.
where are those snarling teeth?
the attack stance?

I love him, he is a sweet shepherd, look at those eyes.

i hear ya on the possum head,
my mini dachshund becomes the devil if you try to take "bobo" from her.
LOL
she growls, she spits, then waits for me to throw it to NOT return it.
Dachshunds do not return.
They are death to small animals.
That is what she says anyway.
