Eeeeeeeeee, Wobbles does. I remember your video of him a while back where he was oblivious to the cat in the background and he kept poking at the camera.

I know this is a house duck thread but I have a pair of house finches. Two. With wings. They fly. I came downstairs and Jibby was inside my drinking glass cupboard that was 2" ajar. I had to shoo him out. My point is this: do any of your house ducks do indoor things that are silly, cute, go into spots they shouldn't and act like they own the place? This question is poised with love and amusement but I wanna find out from others their experiences.

Ahhh, that's so cute! "Jibby" is such an adorable name for a finch <3 How on earth do you keep them tame and get them back into their cage? As for ducks...yes. Yes, they do get into things they shouldn't. Constantly.

ChaCha is always getting into things she shouldn't! As soon as I turn my back she's into something else! She's an absolute toddler. But that's a lot of what makes her so cute and lovable =)

Exactly. Wobbles loves nothing more than to do things he knows he's not supposed to do, LOL! Things like chase the cats, drill into the carpet, eat paper towels...the list goes on and on. But the best part is the look they give you when they're caught!

OMG. Does he poop out little white paper towel peas? ChaCha likes to eat toilet paper when I'm not looking and if I don't catch her, I always find out later during the diaper change! I'm totally going to take a picture next time. She poops out these little peas (like bunny poop!) that are white and made of the toilet paper she knows she's not supposed to eat! It's gross AND hilarious.

No, thank goodness. At least, none that I've noticed. I usually catch him before he eats too much.

I love it when Wobbles looks into a mirror! I was leaning back on the bed with my laptop open but in sleep mode, so the screen is black. He runs up to me, stops, and turns to stare right into the laptop screen, tilting his head this way and that. It turns out he was looking at my reflection, confused as all heck!

thank you. It fits him. I came up with it after purchasing him and while His Royal Tinyness was in a little box in my car, a big semi truck hauling a cargo container had JIB in all caps on the big box and that's when I named him. These finches are not hand tamed. At night they voluntarily go into their cage to sleep and I shut the door then. I don't like having them out when I am gone at work. And glad to know my birds aren't the only ones that get into things they shouldn't. I can only imagine where Wobbles pokes his snooter into besides ranch dressing
