Show off your house ducks!

No rehabs close enough. Since using poly v, I should discontinue adding niacin? Also - how am I supposed to feed him?

If you do decide to take him with you, swing by a post office or any vet office and weigh him on their scale. Then people will be able to tell you how much to feed him and how much medication to give him. Make sense?

bad news regarding Lamont. I took him to the feed store with me and he have one of his seizures the woman who works there witnessed it and said that it's probably a back injury or neck injury which means there's nothing I can do to save him. she said he probably would not last another 24 hours

Ignore her. Back and neck injuries don't cause the diarrhea he has. Did you get the antibiotics? True he might not live another 24 hours, but it won't be due to an injury.

What's with these moronic feed store employees?

They won't have any antibiotics time Thursday. Am in search of another feed store. They had penicillin, but did not recomend it. Lamont has now had 4 more "seziures" since I left for the store. his body becomes rigid and his neck flops backwards turning his head upside down his wings stretch out and I think his legs kind of dangle. to me it sounds like a seizure. I don't know if its me or not but it seems like his neck is weak that could be me seeing something that isn't really there. getting vitamin E now as it is helpful for back injuries.

Kathy, I thought the same thing and I don't even have near the knowledge you have about ducks. I agree with you. The diarrhea is not indicative of an injury the person was alleging.

So sad for Lamont and you, too. Are you able to administer anything you have per the advice you've received here? I hope he can turn a corner.
