Show off your house ducks!

Well...whenever I see a duck I wanna hug and squeeze it, so technically that'd make it pressed duck.

Also I have some news! Today I caught Wobbles bobbing his head AT BEAN! Usually he only displays towards me. She's still too young to reciprocate, but she certainly seems to enjoy the attention anyway. But there's hope that they'll form a pair bond, after all!

Yay! Wobbles might have figured out he is a duck (drake). Maybe he will brave the dreaded meal worm someday...

I bet if Bean was eating a few, he might try one...

Tisk tisk @Scovy Momma . If someone just tuned in, they might think you are a meanie rather than being the funny comment (taken in context of the last couple days) that it was

.

That being said...

Right? I figured it was more polite than coming up with some bad "roast duck" joke because it's been so hot

So, now I'm worried if River is getting angel wing or if her wing dings just sitting normal. I have video I took last night & a couple pics, maybe ya'll who have had angel wings can tell.
(Sorry for the photo overload & the black boxes, I turned the phone but it still is wonky

That duckling looks like it's only about a month old. I don't know if there's anything specific to Muscovy and wing disorders, but I don't see wing disorders in ducks that age. They typically develop a couple to a few weeks later than that, usually in ducks that are being fed too much protein and/or don't get enough exercise.

In the Mallard derivatives, you can't tell much at all about them when they're wet, especially when they're still partly in down, because the water weighs them down. You have to look at them from various angles when they're fully dry and standing at rest. Can you get a pic or video of her dry?

She is definitely get very own person with feathers LOL she might be large, but there's no meat on her anyway! It would have been such a waste of her mischievous personality haha
AH so stinkin cute! They are so cool!
I think you have to post your video on YouTube, then get the correct embed code from the YouTube page to put into the html bar when you click the "add video" button. It's rather involved lol but your pictures are great! !!
Oh geez! Silly mom, making mistakes =P I can't remember, did you have problems using a crate? ChaCha can't fly, but when she sleeps inside (if she's not roosting on my arm like a crazy duck) she sleeps in a small metal crate. I love it because if I need to hide her from sight I can set the crate in the bathroom or closet and she still has fantastic air flow (here in the 100+ desert lol)
Gadd she is so cute. Her facial expression is sweet. She a softie of a burd with webs and a bill.
