Interesting, Quackers has started jumping on my bed. I don't let her get off herself as I'm afraid she'll hurt herself, call me over protective Lol. I'm gonna start letting her get off on her own and try to have the camera ready.![]()
How in the world did you get Floki to want to be outside? I've been trying to get Quackers use to being outside. Every time I put her outside she'll sit by the door telling me she wants back in. It's pretty funny because first she'll be by the front door then go to the back door and if she isn't let in she'll walk around the entire house chirping Lol. Getting her outside is a pain lol.
Today I'll let her get on the bed and try to get a video. Hopefully she'll let me, sometimes she can be camera shy other times a camera hog Lol.
I was thinking of clipping Quackers' wings as well. Even though I really don't want to. I just don't want her getting out of the yard. Our gate is only about 3 1/2 feet tall. Now that I'm thinking about how she can already jump into my bed at 9 weeks (my bed isn't too high. Just the box spring and mattress, no frame), even with her wings clipped do you guys think she'll still be able to jump and get onto the gate? She's a Muscovy.
Ducks naturally have very wet poops, depending on how much water they have drank. Misty often poops straight up water sometimes. Is it a brown chocolaty color? Or maybe yellow? It could just be "cecal" poop or what some people call "sevens" because about every seven poop is one, they smell horrible! I'm not even sure what duck diarrhea would look like, all of their poop looks like it! There is a huge range of what normal duck poop looks like, I've heard neon yellow is what you need to worry about.Anyone!?
I've been going over older posts that ppl have put up and the problems they're having are just a few facts different then me.
Well Floki is a 5 1/2 months old Ancona, and she just started laying eggs the beginning of this month.
And that is when her diarrhea started......and oh man is it smelly!
Her diet hasn't changed, and neither has her behavior or health.
She's still her same ol self....no weight loss and still happy, loving and playful.
It's the worse in the morning, and that's when it shoots like a foot!
Then later in the day it's still runny, but not as bad or as smelly.
So has anyone else had this?
Is this cuz she started laying?
Any ideas?
