Maybe you can work out some sort of deal with the local TSC to give the ducklings to them? That will be soooo cute with the little ducklings at the vet! Why do you have to keep wobbles seperate? I once had a silkie rooster raise a brood of his own chicks? Maybe you and wobbles can both be parents? Maybe wobbles will think that after all this mating with you, you have finally layed eggs and hatched them out? lol.
Well, even though I'm his "mate" and I'll be raising ducklings soon, that doesn't necessarily mean Wobs will put 2 and 2 together and think that they're his. Drakes don't usually help raise ducklings anyhow, so I'm not too hopeful. It's best if I try to keep him away from the brooder, for the babies' sakes. Although it would be amazing if he treated these ducklings as his own! How cool would that be?
