Winter thoroughly enjoyed her first fish frenzy in the tub! I felt terrible for the little fishies though ): After she looked at me like 'momma that's all you got me?' Spoiled stinker! (;

I know. It is odd but they don't get it. Like lately I have been having to catch Jibby in the dark to put him in the cage because I don't want the birds out free ranging during the day. They are messy and prolific poopers and vandals and it is just not good. I have never ever harmed him but admittedly before he is put back in his cage I soak his little head and back with kisses. I wish he'd remember that I never have hurt him and that it is okay to be held. Ya right. They have strongly evolved to be afraid of big scary things for their survival.Yeah, that's how she is, too! Faces fine, hands, NOPE. I wish she could make the connection that my hands are connected to the head she seems to like so much.![]()
You are awesome in your attitude and feelings about ducks. You totally get it!! You are my duck soul sister. I don't own any but am obsessed by their cuteness and all.AWWWWWWWWWW OMGGGG WINTER!!!! Too stinkin cuteee!! I wish I could see a video of that button like face going after those little swimmies.. Ahhh ....I have this impending doom feeling that I'm going to be that duck lady, that trumps the cat lady.. If I could surround my self with every duck under the sun, I think my life would be made. ... Probably to the point I'd have too many to keep inside, that I'd sleep in the duck house..precious little devious angels. My poor hubby sure has patience and tolerance, thank goodness.![]()
You've come to the right place. Ask Amykins and get her experience. Awesome you rescued the little precious baby angel. Thank you!!Hi all!
I'm new to BYC and am loving reading all the info this site has. We've recently found a duckling on the side of the road that we've taken in and he's become part of the family. As he's getting older now my partner and I are debating about whether he should be a house pet or not. Is there anyone else on here that has just one duck kept inside? Do they get depressed or bored during the day?
Look at huntress fisher duck of the cute little soft feminine face and small call duck body devour the little fishes.
Oh I do love you. dumb tiny people-grubs. I need to get off here before I am late for work.LOL! Sadly, no...their parents were only 20 feet away and I didn't want to start anything, despite the fact they clearly don't know thing one about reining in their dumb tiny people-grubs. Grumble. I wish I had. If it happens again I don't care how many people stare at the crazy lady making mouth-noises, I'mma protect mah ducks!
