Show off your house ducks!

Awh guys..these babies are too much! I love reading about all their cute antics..Mine love to fiddle around in the carpet.. we have this small rug with longer strands that they love to just go at.. luckily they haven't destroyed it by now. lol Though their favorite thing to go after is my hair... could be that it's untidy to their standards and they want to fix it.. oh.. and .. weird thing. so cookie.. the girl.. went crazy trying to jump on me, so i stuck my arms in, she jumped up on them then grabbed my finger in her mouth and just kept it there. It seemed a mating thing but I have no idea as shes a girl.. or so I thought..,.. these two have switched up genders on me so many times, I'm beginning to think they are worms. x(

Fowl are hair chewers. I dont get it, but they all do it! My goosey LOVED to chew on hair, and I hoped she'd grow out of it but no luck! Even full grown ChaCha enjoys a hair lunch... she will go after ANY hair she can find... including the poor dog LOL

I love that picture! So coo to catch them mid flap!

I do think with the hair chewing.. they think it's our feathers, and they are a hot mess compared to their feathers.. I watch them "groom" my strands into "dreads".. and they will dunk their beaks to get more water, then back to fixin they go. they attack my flyaways hard core. I'm assuming to them, they look like a bunch of out of place feathers. I could be way out of the ball park, but that's just how I take it.. (though I don't know if it's my ducks who think they are human so much as I think I'm a duck. . . xD lol)

wanted to add though they are both anconas, cookie the girl has a green sheen to her black feathers. It's really pretty.. I'll try to get a picture. I don't know if anyone else has this in their anconas, my other ancona doesn't, but it could be something floating around in the genes when breeding. Regardless, I love it!

My ancona male had a lot of green in him. It was pretty in the sunshine! There are a few other Anconas on this thread too so maybe they have pictures!

FOWLOWEEN? I love it, ha! I totally wanna enter!

Also, we took the feathered fluffbutts to the park today! Everyone had a good time, although it was kinda stressful at points. We had to move though, a buncha kids came right up to us not long after we settled down and began throwing a baseball around. They lobbed it right over us then ran right through to catch it, they almost stomped right over the duckies! I really..REALLY...don't...like...children. Grrrrrrr.

Then after we'd moved we realized we were sitting under a tree fulla crows. Poor Bean was super uneasy by them, but they just kept staring down at us as if they were tickled pink to see humans getting along so well with other birds, LOL!

Theeeeeen an unleashed dog came barreling towards us and we were like YEP GOTTA GO
