"Ok, I'm only buying one box so you kids better agree on something or we're leaving & no one gets anything!"
That is so cute. Are they wild and happened to wander in there?

1 oz is sooo bitty. Wow. A mini ducklet. Awe, how fun to have sweet soft Bean do that.

Yup, he was a teeny thing! That was his weight at 1 week too, can you believe it? Most ducklings weigh that at hatch! God, I friggin' love having call ducks!

Scovy Mama, as for that mallard and her bebbehs, did they find their way safely out of the store?

and what is so amazing in a teeny baby like him is how nature packs all the parts together into a Wobbles.

Ahhh you really make me want a Beanie or a Wobblet!

Hehe they're pretty addictive. <3 Still no clue what their kids will look like! Blue bibbed? Black bibbed? Pied of either? Or something completely new because her ultra-rare genotype?

Bean has spent most of the morning in the carrier we put in the corner, making the cutest, softest trills imaginable. I hope this is the precursor to nesting behavior <3

Ahhh, it sounds so! Winter's momma, Perdy, made - as you just put it perfectly - the cutest, softest trills imaginable when she was in her nest preparing to lay an egg. To me, it almost sounded like a duck's version of cat purring <3
