I wanted to show you guys a pic of my scovy sitting on her nest.

Kuku - Scovy needs a Harley Duckinson outfit! I bet that would be a hit. A little hat and fringes on a jacket with plastic chains. I can design but I do not sew. I should send you a couple sketches. Maybe you would like one.

Are you kidding?! Lookit how adorbz!! Now I really need to get one for Dandy! It's looking like "she's" a he so I don't know if you can work with maybe denim or black pleather to make kind of a Tough Guy diaper but I'm sure you could! You really can sew! I wanted to do the FowlOween to try to win a diaper from you but work just got in the way I'll just have to be more prepared next year

Dandy Man huh? That's ok, he can wear a bowtie LOL Is that a muscovy thing? I had another duck friend who was sure her scovy was a she until she posted pictures on muscovy forums and everyone said male! Do they not have curls on their tails like other duckies? Can you not vent sex them as babies (I know this isn't 100% since boys may hold back haha) Yeah I had a pretty weak turnout. Next time I'll know what I'm doing though so hopefully I can plan it better and stir up more involvement! I think it's a really awesome idea, but my customer base isn't it's own ducky community like Feathered Fashions, she does a LOT of awsome duck awareness work and has built up quite the clan! It's inspiring =D I will have a New Years event too with chances to win things, that was quite the hit that past New Year

For those of you not on the pekin duck thread here's my cute lil JoJo with my daughter and laying on my shoulder. His gf fell through, but we will continue our mission in finding him a mate!

HA! That would be so stinkin cute!!! I'm not much of sketcher so that would be awesome! Build a little man costume haha I DO have superhero capes for duckies, so farv they are my manliest full "costume", not like the ladies with their endless girly outfit options

Nope, no curls. They are their own species not derived from a Mallard so they don't get the drake tail. That would be a lot easier if they did!
I haven't tried vent sexing but I don't really need to know for breeding so I don't want to put Dandy through it & face the wrath of angry fat duck for however long she will hold a grudge

I really wanted to take the pictures & had it marked on my calendar even

but the problem I ran into was the postpone ran from being on my days off to my work week that got over loaded. I promise you'll get at least one more set of duck pics next time!

I may have to get a super hero cape! Like with a big SF for Super Fatty.

I was thinking of just getting her a cool dog vest with skulls! It'd match her attitude...

Nope, no curls. They are their own species not derived from a Mallard so they don't get the drake tail. That would be a lot easier if they did!

Ah I am not up on my duck genetics history lol I don't actually know all that much about ducks to begin with! I researched the crap outta geese but ChaCha was a compete surprise so I've really only learned things as I've experienced them!
I'm pretty sure though that vent sexing is only possible as a baby. It's too easy to damage something trying to do it once they've grown a bit.

That's what I was hoping on! I like these vests you make! As it is, I would have been able to convince anyone that Daisy was great for therapy, but Dandy...not so much. She's not mean, just cranky & not as cuddly as Daisy was.
That might change as she gets older but for now, I couldn't pass this off as the type of duck I'd trust kids & elderly to try to snuggle with
