Most all of your Anconas lay like that.
Great I will have to see if I can get some, I was never told about them when I asked for top laying ducks, everyone just said Runners, KC's and WH's.
A lot of people overlook the Anconas because they are a less common breed. They are coming back into popularity though.
Oh so will they be hard to acquire, I suppose it depends where you live doesn't it?
Some of the hatcheries have them like Cackle hatchery, Sandhill I think and a few others they are really gaining popularity again so they are fairly common now.
O.K, I don't have any hatcheries around my place, which is a constant annoyance. I will just have to keep my eye out and possibly just get some hatching eggs.
It was a challenge to get a picture when all of them were standing correctly. I have white, black, chocolate, blue and am working on adding some nice grey and penciled this season. Runners are definitelty my favorite breed and I've had just about all of them.
