I begin with Marina, the one chicken of my Firs Flock. I don't know if she's Isa, GC, RS....I know only that i love her!

I have 5 ISA brown, the lighter lady I raised from a day old and the other three are part of four ex commercial hens I adopted. The one I raised from a day old insists on being a house chicken and has started teaching the others about stairs

I also have three RIR who don't like having their photos taken

Well, She's got my attention

i rescued 6 production hens a couple years ago.
One turned out to be a feather picker and after 6 weeks wearing the glesses was cured.

One went broody last summer and hatched 6 chicks.

2 have since died due to egg binding. Hot summer day when we all had watermelon.

All are sweet tempered girls, and they talk alot.

Thanks for including me. I only have Bantam. I guess the reddest or brown hen I have is Lisa my Sebright..
Definitely not a great layer. I probably shouldn't of posted her..
