i really like mallard ducks thought you needed a permit to have a wild duck though. (or are these domestic mallards?)

love seeing them in the fall by the hundreds as they migrated through here.

I had 2 domestic mallards Olive & Oliver, they were killed a little over a month ago now by a raccoon but thankfully Olive laid eggs that I now am incubating, so if all goes well I will have their babies.!!!!

All three of my mallard hens are domestic and came from ideal poultry, but I bought them from a local feed store.

So cute.... Here is a pic of my babies they are 11 days old today, they grow so fast going to buy a much bigger tote for them tomorrow!!!!!
