Hens don't get dubbed.

Google search the standard OEGB's. You'll find a whole list of DQ's and also what they are supposed to look like.

I have a behavior question. I have the three OBE girls. They are young, I dont know how young because I bought them at an auction. I have had them 6 weeks and the oldest one is starting to develop the red ob her face. They are in a coop with silkie roo because they seem to really like him. They fight over who is going to get under him in between his legs and they also fight to sit on him (literally) like a horse. My husband and I joke that he is doing a great job of babysitting, but i would like to know what the behavior is. He doesnt seem to mind them climbing all over him and in fact he crows non stop when i separate them. they are girls for sure. Why are they doing this?
I had an Old English Game Hen who would squeeze under her rooster, too, even when she was full grown. And I have seen photos of other breeds where the hen sits under the rooster. It seems like a sign of affection. I think the hens feel safe with the rooster and want to cozy up to him. You should try to get some video of them; they sound cute together.

I also have seen my little Mottled Old English pullet under Blinkin. He kinda stands on his toes and let's her scoot under his belly. Mostly when they are in the coop, but sometimes when they are out free ranging.
