Nice roo. I have a pair of spangled a quad silver duckwing and a pair of bbreds. Got some crele and gold duckwing in the bator.

All right... I've gotta post my boys here soon. We're gonna be bathing them for an upcoming show, I'll take pics and post afterwards. They are BB reds, 5 not quite 6 months old. I haven't dubbed them yet. I didn't want them scabby at the upcoming show, so I figured I'd do it afterwards.

I really wish that dubbing was NOT the standard!! They are so CUTE with their little combs!!

Can you actually tell the difference between male and females barred and crele oegb chicks like other barred breeds, or is it harder? Are there any other colors where you can at least guess before they get their feathers in?

I might get an oegb to show, and if I did I wouldn't want a cock. I don't want to deal with dubbing, not sure I agree with it and it sounds pretty hard to do a good job on a show bird.
